Our Story

Intercare Support Services

Intercare Support Services was founded to fill a gap in Shropshire: genuinely specialist care that treats every person as an individual. Our management team has spent over two decades working across the NHS, private care, and community settings. We’ve seen what works—and what doesn’t.

That’s why we built our service around nurse-led accountability and creative problem-solving. From supporting a young adult with autism to transition into their first supported living home, to helping an older person with dementia remain safe and comfortable in their own house—we bring expertise and heart to every visit.

“We lead from the front.” Our managers don’t sit behind desks. With backgrounds in complex care, mental health, and learning disabilities, they are actively involved in training, care reviews, and supporting our frontline team. You will always have access to a senior clinician or manager when you need one.
